Who we are
Accountants for Pharmacies is a trading style of Buzz Accounting Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15182358, VAT registration number GB481 882 554. You can reach us at hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
If you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, the pharmacy you run and whatever you write in the message. We use it to answer you. If you become a client we hold what we need to do the work and to meet our own legal obligations — accounting records, identity documents for anti-money-laundering checks, and payroll data where we run your payroll.
Where we act on your NHS income we will hold FP34 schedules and NHSBSA statements. Those are business records rather than patient data. We do not ask for, receive or process patient identifiable information, and you should not send it to us. If patient data reaches us by accident we will tell you and delete it.
Our lawful bases
- Contract — doing the work you engaged us to do.
- Legal obligation — anti-money-laundering checks, and the records HMRC and Companies House require us to keep.
- Legitimate interests — replying to an enquiry you sent us.
Who else sees it
Our software providers, as processors: accounts production, bookkeeping, payroll and email. HMRC and Companies House where we file on your behalf. Nobody else, and we do not sell data.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, and that is gated behind your consent: nothing loads and no cookie is set unless you accept it on the banner, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. Nothing about your visit is sold or shared with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements: up to 24 months. Client records: six years after the engagement ends, which is the period the tax legislation contemplates, plus the anti-money-laundering records we are required to retain.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page, and tell clients directly where the change is material.
